Laserplex offers dedicated club nights as a structured, cost-effective alternative to mainstream sports in Wellington, with regular sessions across laser tag, air gun range, virtual reality experiences and indoor golf. These sessions provide consistent training, team camaraderie, and competitive opportunities – including access to advanced game modes not available during public play, with a clear pathway into competitive laser tag. Membership delivers priority access, exclusive events, discounted rates outside club times, and the chance to track progress on our leader boards.
All clubs welcome participants aged 7 and above (with age-specific conditions noted below). The current membership fee is $205 per school term (including for adults), offering excellent value for regular play.
Laser Sports (Laser Tag Club) – Wednesday Evenings
Join our dedicated laser tag league in Wellington for weekly competitive matches that focus on strategy, accuracy, and teamwork. This is a genuine sporting alternative, with pathways to regional, national, and even international competition through New Zealand’s growing laser tag community.
Play exclusive game modes unavailable to the public, hone your skills in a supportive environment, and represent Laserplex in tournaments. Ideal for all ages 7+, whether you’re new to the game or aiming to compete at higher levels.

AIR Gun Club – Thursday Evenings
Learn to shoot safely and affordably in a controlled, supervised setting. Our Wellington Air Gun Club provides expert instruction, free ammunition during club nights, and a welcoming space to develop precision and confidence.
Membership is restricted to R13 (13 years and older), unless a parent or guardian joins with you. A key benefit: belonging to an approved shooting club enables legal purchasing of your own replica firearm – an opportunity not available without club affiliation under New Zealand law.

VR Gaming Club – Friday Evenings
